An Empirical Study on the Impact of Energy Poverty on Carbon Intensity of the Construction Industry: Moderating Role of Technological Innovation

As a national pillar industry, the carbon emissions generated by construction industry have received significant attention. large developing country, China has unbalanced regional development and imperfect modern energy infrastructure in some regions, leading to prominent problem of poverty China. Therefore, this study constructs index system using panel data 30 provinces cities from 2004 2016. This article analyzes influence on intensity model industry. The results show that 1) increases 1.683 units per unit increase poverty, showing positive impact. 2) Energy consumption structure mediating effect impact 3) technological level plays moderating role main industry; degree marketization indirect These offered valuable policy recommendations for sustainable industrial growth.
